Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Recenterly (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Recenterly is a workday recovery tool that delivers timed micro-reset prompts during focus sessions. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you need clinical support, consult a qualified professional.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use most features. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to create an account.

3. Free and Pro plans

Recenterly offers a Free tier with daily limits, and a paid Pro subscription that unlocks unlimited resets, unlimited work sessions, advanced modes, push reminders, and updates. Pricing and features are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.

4. Billing and renewals

  • Pro is billed in advance via Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose).
  • Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. After cancelling, you keep Pro access until the end of your current paid period; no further charges are made.
  • If a renewal payment fails, Pro features are downgraded until payment succeeds.

5. Refund policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers. If you're not happy with Pro, email support@recenterly.app within 7 days of your first Pro payment and we'll refund the full amount, no questions asked.

After the 7-day window, payments are non-refundable. You can still cancel anytime to stop future renewals — you simply keep Pro access for the rest of the period you've already paid for. Refunds are processed by Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
  • Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Share your account, resell access, or circumvent rate limits or paid feature gates.
  • Submit content (e.g. feedback) that is illegal, threatening, or violates someone else's rights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you submit (feedback, notes, settings). By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to store and process it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any temporary unavailability.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Recenterly does not guarantee any specific productivity, health, or wellbeing outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recenterly and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose (or 0 if you're on the Free plan).

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. limitations of liability, disclaimers) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the competent courts of that country.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
